Step away from the noise and demands of daily life and immerse yourself in the stillness and beauty of 2,000 acres of ancient woodland at the foot of May Hill, Gloucestershire, England. Here, you will meditate, walk barefoot along winding forest paths, and sleep in comfort beneath the ancient canopy, cradled by the gentle whispers of the wild. As the boundaries between self and nature soften, you will begin to understand your own energy field and how modern life shapes your ability to feel and connect with the natural world.

A full (yet relaxed) 1 or 2-day off-grid experience, giving you the basics for outdoor self-sufficient survival, on our practical introduction course, aligned with the Institute of Outdoor Learning Bushcraft skillset. Enjoy time around the firecircle too for an off-grid cuppa, and option for overnight woodland camping.

The woodland provides a wonderful venue for foraging courses. There is a wonderful mix of trees, including British natives and imported trees of commercial and ornamental value. The estate offers some wonderful woodland pathways t0 discover wild plants and mushrooms.
